These tongs are ideal for handling metal ingots and billets. The centerpoint is driven into the ingot/billet and holds the piece to be lifted. The auto-latch system allows the device to operate remotely. The tong is engaged and disengaged entirely by cycling the liftng bail up and down on the load. The center point contacts are replaceable.
Other pad arrangements can be substituted for the standard center point.
